Passport & TB test expiring

Passport & TB test expiring
Hello.
My husbands passport is due to expire in December this year and his Tb test in June we are going to be applying for his spouse visa in the coming months.
Question, is it alright to apply now with his passport and tb test expiring or is it best to get news ones ?

The passport is probably OK the TB test no. It has to be current when you apply.

I would also get a new passport in order to keep things simple.
