Thanks for that! On looking up the postcode I could not understand why the official address was so misleading! Maybe the OP can write to the Minister pointing this out...!

You will have to rely on the nice pharmacy manager to do the necessary and redirect to the Home Office next door. It wouldn’t be the first time.

I think the pharmacy manager deserves a reward from the Home Office. Maybe tickets to the PM's Questions in the Commons Chamber, followed by a meal and drinkies for them and their family and friends in the Member's Dining Room

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I mailed my passport and supporting documents for my UKM application to

UKVI
The Capital
New Hall Place
Department 265
Liverpool L39pp

the FedEx delivery confirmation said that it was signed for by J Toohey, location: pharmacy.
I called the UK Nationality and Citizenship call center. The gentleman I spoke with was very empathetic and has escalated my case. I called the Tesco Express that is along Old Hall St. in the Capital Building and they say that they did not receive a FedEx package yesterday from me. I have called FedEx a few times and they have not been helpful at all. They are supposedly looking into where exactly my papers were delivered, but I don't expect them to call back. I will be calling them to check again. How frustrating!!.....my passport is in this package along with other important documents. I feel helpless!

Department 1
UKVI
The Capital
New Hall Place
Liverpool

I have escalated this case and spoken with FedEx everyday and have spoken with the contractor/vendor in the UK. FedEx told me they use an outside contractor for deliveries in Liverpool! Did not know that before paying. I have begged them to retrieve the package. Every time I am told it is not possible because it was correctly delivered to the pharmacy! I contacted Tesco and they don't have a pharmacy at that location. Yesterday I received a call from FedEx escalation telling me it was confirmed received by the Embassy. What Embassy?! There is no embassy in Liverpool! They don't even do confirmations! Nonsense! I contacted the Home Office and they were unhelpful, telling me they can not confirm or deny any receipt. They said they are merely a call center and have no way to "look" for a parcel. They said if it turns up I would receive notification approximately 6 weeks later.

I also wanted to correct the shipping label and was told not to add "building" to Capital and not to add "United Kingdom Visas and Immigration" but to just leave it at UKVI, as written in the guide and form.

This stinks! Might I say without fear of hurt feelings that so far my British experience is that everyone I have spoke to in the UK is super unhelpful!?

Respectfully, Stef

PS. No more passport and no more Mum's passport. Gone. Not to mention my credit card information on the payment form. . .
Hi, do you know where did Fedex delivered your parcel to? Is it a pharmacy nearby Home Office? The postal code L3 9PP seems to be the correct place from google map. How can they deliver wrongly?

How odd. When I applied online, I sent in my paperwork via FedEx to

Department 265 (yes 265, not 1 as in Guide UKM)
UKVI
The Capital Building
New Hall Place
Liverpool L39PP
UK

it got there fine . There was only a name on the delivery signature field, no institution , but there was no apparent issue with the delivery .

My passport and accompanying documents did end up getting to the UKVI after all. I was told by FedEx that the courier that they used in Liverpool pressed the wrong button on his electronic delivery documentation device and that it was in fact delivered to the UKVI office.
My application was processed and approved. So, if your FedEx delivery confirmation was signed by J Toohey, you should be fine.....even if it says it was delivered to “pharmacy” like mine.
