Need new passport but visa is in the old one?
Hi,
I need to renew my passport & am wondering/hoping that my visa will remain valid in my old one. Will i just need to carry around my old & new passports when traveling. The visa is good until 2015, passport only 2013. Wish i'd noticed this before going to embassy, i would have just renewed my passport early.
Any info gratefully received.

It's fine as long as you don't mix and match nationalities with the expired and valid passport. The new and expired passport containing the visa must list the same nationality. Someone can't use a valid visa in an expired passport from Australia with a new British passport.
