Hi everyone. My wife and i finally had a small honeymoon after getting married earlier in the year, its the first time we've been anywhere abroad since starting on the 5 year route and being granted spouse/partner leave to remain. It's been nice to have a break from looking through visa paperwork for a few months.
We got questioned when we arrived back in the UK on why we left and how long we were away and how long she intended to stay. I've been trying to search online since to find what the restrictions, if any on travel are, does anyone know how long at a time we can be away from the UK on leave to remain as we were hoping to spend a month back at her parents in Japan next year.
Thanks

The requirements for ILR are no more than six months in any given twelve month period over the five years and no more than three months in the final year before you lodge your application.
