Ireland v UK move non Ee spouse and child
Hi all,
I have been reading up on the threads about the Sirunda route, interesting, and thinking about moving to Ireland.
I figure if the UK doesn't want my and my wifes hard work then I'm not going to give it to them. i can appreciate the need to have some sort of control, but I believe that this is all just too much, unreasonable.
I Am from South Africa., I'm a British citizen, by decent, lived and worked in the UK approx 10 Years ago,( yes paid tax, did not claim benefits etc), came back married and child etc, wife and child are not Ee citizens at all. Only South African. ( I have both UK and SA citizenship).
Is it still a matter of arrival in Ireland, no visa required for myself or my non EE immediate family, immigration officer stamps the passports, we find a place to live, I get a job, work for 2 months, and then apply for my wife and daughter residents permit, whereby my wife may work too.
If we like Ireland why not stay? Become Irish citizens?
I am looking long term feel like my hard work is not wanted here in SA either.
I have lots of other questions too.... (One at a time for now
Thanks in advance
Pioneer.
