Default 'How long has the account been held?'

Quick question regarding Appendix 2...
We're going the cash savings route, using proceeds from sale of our house. So under 3.75, question f is "How long has the account been held?" The account itself is a joint account that has been open for 9 1/2 years, but the money we are using as the financial support will only have been in there for a few days (but usable because we purchase the house since 2016).
So should my answer to this question be 9 1/2 years, or just the number of days the money has actually been there available to us?
Thanks!

One more quick related question...
We have the sale agreement for the house, the statement from our lawyer indicating the fees and everything coming out and how much we are actually getting in the end, a copy of the certified cheque of the money from the house sale, a deposit slip stamped by the bank - with a printout from online banking showing more evidence that the money is actually there be acceptable, or do we need a more official account statement straight from the bank?

I would get a bank statement showing the deposit of the funds in your account. You should also provide documentation proving that you owned the house for at least six months prior to its sale if this information is not already shown in one of the official documents you already will be providing.

We've got our purchase agreement for the house, and mortgage statements throughout the past 3 years so I think we're covered on proof that we've owned for more than 6 months.
Thanks for all your help BIP, you've been invaluable throughout this process!
