Hi, I hope someone can help me. I am over in the UK on a 6 month visitor
visa. I have fallen in love and he has asked me to marry him while I am over
here. Trouble is, I cannot find any helpful sites on the internet about
obtaining my marriage visa, what to expect, etc...Can anyone help me???

Sorry if I'm confused, but are you trying to get a marriage visa for HIM to immigrate to the States? Or for YOU to immigrate to the UK?

I only ask because you have posted this in the US Marriage-Based Visas newsgroup, which only discusses visas for US immigration.

Some clarification would help. I apologize if I have misunderstood your situation.

I am in the UK, we was going to live in the USA, but now have since changed
our minds, hence we knew about this newsgroup.
We have looked through the newsgroups for one like this but for people
wanting to move to the UK from the USA without success, and was hoping that
someone somewhere knew of some sites that would help us out

Search for a FAQ on this topic written by a person who has the ISP
velvet.net (I believe). I can't remember her name. She moved from the US
to the UK
