Hi there, I am a British Citizen, I was born in Wales to be exact in 1991. I am a current valid British Passport holder and always have been. I am really confused about something. I will be coming back to visit family from the United States after i become a United States Citizen with dual citizenship. I have not seen my family in 20 years. If things go well, I may move back to the United Kingdom six months to a year later maximum and will be living with family until i can find my own place, However, I am confused if i need a visa to move back to the United Kingdom or don't i need one? Both of my parents were born in the United Kingdom but it would be only me returning. If someone could answer my question i would be so grateful as i am so confused. Also, Does anyone know how i may be able to get my NHS number? I don't have it and i honestly don't remember it.

If you move back, then just go to register at a GP surgery, they will be able to sort out your NHS number, you may already have one of the new ones, but it all depends on how long ago you were last living in the UK.

Okay great, I really appreciate the reply. The UK immigration whole visa thing is so confusing lol. In the early 2000's it wasn't really a problem but now it's like holey cow. But yeah really grateful for your response, Thank you so much!

If you plan on working you’ll need a National Insurance number (NINO). You may already have one. Check here: https://www.gov.uk/lost-national-insurance-number
