I'm a British Citizen. My wife is Argentinian and has a 5 year EU Residence Card ( Surinder Singh Rules).
After 5 years' residence she will apply for permanent residence and then for British citizenship.
If she was successful, what would be the position of her 18 yr old son (Argentinian and he'd be 22/23 by the time of her application), does he have any chance of applying for British citizenship?

If he is dependent on his mother and willing to join you in the UK for the next five to six years then he would have a path to British citizenship. He will no entitlement if he remains in Argentina.

Not entirely sure what you mean but just in case you think it is some form of backdoor immigration that will be fixed by Brexit, I assume you do know that Brexit has no effect on non-EU immigration? I know that assumes you know where Argentina is!

My comment was to the somewhat xenophobic one of Jamie.
I'm well aware that we used EU law to get back here. We had no way of affording the UK Immigration Act fees or for me to meet the income requirement.
Our intention was/is to explore the position AFTER my wife gets British Citizenship. We have no intention of seeking assistance via EU Family Reunion criteria.
Thanks to Brits in Paris? None of this is directed at you.
Whilst I'm still fuming, for the record, I have pension income only, we just missed the £18,600 limit so looked at EU law. My wife, a qualified teacher, now works as a care assistant because May's hostile environment spreads into many walks of life. She's also fluent in English. I have advised her son not to seek a life in this country and if inflation wasn't at 45% in Argentina, I'd happily leave this miserable, racist place.
