Default Brexit and UK spouse visa

Good morning junior, senior, gurus & moderators

As the Brexit is approaching and is very imminent that there will be no deal and hopefully UK will be free from EU rules with full control over their border. So will that Brexit be fruitful/harmful for none-EU dependants of British nationals? Will visa fee still continue to increase?

I have a piece of string in my hand, if you can tell me how long it is, then I can answer your questions. Until Brexit does or does not happen, and with the clown in charge anything can still happen, we really will not know, I suspect it may well depend on how the other EU countries treat OK persons.

With regards to spouse visas for non-EU dependants of British nationals, I'm not sure why you think there would be any impact from Brexit. The exact same process will apply both for those spouses immigrating to the UK and any travel to EU countries from the UK (with Ireland as a possible exception eventually due to the Common Travel Area). My understanding is the visa fees are set to cover the cost of administering the system. Conceivably those costs will increase slowly over time but there shouldn't be any major fee changes without some political force to drive them.

Brexit won’t have an immediate effect on non-EU immigration, deal or no deal. The entire immigration system however is scheduled to be overhauled in January 2021.

Honestly speaking the visa fees for spouse visa under UK rule is getting unaffordable while EU nationals and their dependants does not pay anything which I m sure disturb many people mind. On brexit at least that practice should be reversed , why family members of UK citizen pay more fee.

This is getting off-topic for the forum. As noted, the fee is entirely to cover the service received (i.e. getting the visa). Non-EU spouses pay a fee because they are provided a service to get something they want. Brexit won't change this so the people this practice might "disturb" are generally people who are unaffected by it. Non-EU spouses do not pay a certain amount just because spouses of EU-nationals don't pay anything, they pay that amount because they themselves want a certain service.
