Advice/thoughts on using an agent?
Hello,
I believe I can secure citizenship by descent through my mother being born in Birmingham and father in Greenock.
I have found a few agents who can help with the citizenship process, especially from abroad. In particular I found philipgamble, davidsonmorris and dualcitizenship.com.
Does anyone have experience using an agent? If so, would you recommend using one?
Thanks,
Ian

Hello Ian and welcome to BE.
If your parents were both born in the UK it's highly likely that you are already a British citizen and you need only apply for your British passport.
Where were you born, what year were you born and were your parents married at the time of your birth?

Okay, so you're already a British citizen and have been since birth. You just need to apply for your British passport.
