Accommodation requirement
I am a dual UK/USA citizen, planning on moving back to the UK next year after 7 years in the USA with my US spouse and our 3 year daughter. We have the required savings so from what I have researched that means we should be able to all move together upon visa approval?
From a logistical point of view does anyone have advice on how we deal with the accommodation requirement? Does this have to be provided upon the start of the application? We will be renting initially but obviously I don't want to sign a tenancy agreement until we have the visa approved - we will have a house sale etc to wrap up here too.
Until we found find a rented property we will probably be staying (very short term) with family but as they only have 1 spare bedroom that would be deemed as overcrowded?
Many thanks for any advice!

Re: Accommodation requirement
You have to have suitable accommodation (and proof of such) set up at the time of the application
Yes, just having a spare bedroom for all three of you could be deemed overcrowded, unless there is a 'living area' which could be utilised.
Many people set up a short term holiday rental if unable to stay with family/friends
