Default 28 days on payslip

Hi,
We were going to submit around now but have gotten nervous about the 28 day period for documents. My latest payslip is 27th February - and we read on the guidance note:

3.3.8. Where Appendix FM-SE requires the applicant to provide specified evidence relating to a period which ends with the date of application, that evidence must be dated no earlier than 28 days before the date of application.

Does the 28 days start from the online submission and payment? Or from the biometrics appointment date? If it starts from submission online we should still be fine, but if we get an appointment date on or after 27th March this will mean the Feb payslip is too old.

We don't want to rush an application as we're still gathering some documents this week but on the other hand waiting until March's payslip will mean we need to redo letters etc.

It's no older than 28 days before you submit your application online.

Hi Spouse of Scouse thank you - do you mean that's the submission of the first basic form at the start where you press 'confirm submission' ?

We haven't got any further than this page and were wondering if there is more online that we need to submit - or whether thats the only online part, and the rest is the supporting documents and forms.

Hi Rosa, yes the relevant date is when you confirm your submission, so documents must be dated no earlier than 28 days before you hit 'confirm submission' I'm not sure what, if anything further you have to submit, the process has changed a lot since I applied a few years ago. However, the 28 days rule is still from when you hit that confirm submission.
