I am wondering if there are members here who are living in, or have lived in Martinique and / or Guadeloupe.

I have not lived there but have visited both, Martinque is a lot more developed than a lot of the Islands in the Windwards, great shops and good medical facilities. Guadaloupe not so much.

from what I've seen (very brief stays) I'd pick Martinique every time over Guadeloupe .... much more money goes into Martinique, much prettier, Guadeloupe seems to be the poor relation.
