we were looking at clothes packed in suitcases and wondering if they were over the limit for weight for the airline (which they were), wondering if we had packed everything from the house , saying goodbye to family hoping that they would come to visit us soon in our new adventure and trying to persude the dog that being in a crate for 12 hours really will be OK A year later and we are looking at boxes and suitcases as we sit in our new house in Canada and as for the box ... well, lets say that the dog doesn;t need to worry about being in it again for quite some time!
The last 364 days have been many things. Scary, fun, challenging, down right funny, frustrating, cold, hot, happy, sad. We both have work, a mortgage which makes us officially poor on the money side of life! Boys are more settled in the new house, all our neighbours are great, Sophe our Cocker spaniel now has 2 neighbours who are also cockers and my best mate has come over from England just to help us move.
I am sure that this euphoria will become less as the daysgo by but on the whole...life is goooood.

Great to hear your first year has gone so well. We still have stuff in boxes to open, as not sold yet in UK. You all sound happy even the dog.
