We landed on 7th June 2010, and stayed! It was my OH's birthday. The year has gone really quickly and we both have got jobs, in fact OH gave his up last week to go contracting again- so he is very happy.
We have had a steady stream of visitors and have started to explore Canada- Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa, Allonquin(4 times!) and Nova Scotia- shame about the rubbish holidays
We are happy here in Toronto, there is lots going on - even for those of us on the wrong side of 50!!! The winter was a chance to learn skating (not my best move!!), cross country ski-ing and buy snowshoes for the really deep snow.
Although we planned on moving from TO, we are going to stay for the forseeable!!!
Plan to visit the UK next year - have got tickets for the Olymbics
Hope all the other 2007ers get their visa's soon
