Default 3 years today.

Another year done and dusted, and a year closer to moving on to our final resting place.

Well done for lasting three years!

I'm glad you have your plan in place.

Enjoy your remaining time in Canada - one day you will look back on parts of it fondly. Probably!

I was turning out a cupboard the other day, prior to moving to Canada.... I found a quote in an old notebook that I'd obviously liked some years back
"sometimes there's just one way to find where you want to be and that's by going in a different direction".

Thats a nice quote, and very true. We had to take this path, in honesty its not that bad, just not where I really want to be. I have quiet a privileged life style, I feel bad for moaning about it, the people we have met have been very nice, I just miss my family in the UK. That said, I dont think we will ever live in the UK again, next stop for us will be France.

It's a weird world Miss C....here we are exchanging places! I don't think I will ever go back to the UK now...I have no family, just my son and husband, so I think this will make the transition to Canada easier. I have been In France for 20 years or so, but only permanently for 12 years....I have been so happy in so many ways, but it's time for a new adventure. Sometimes you can live in a situation that a great mass of people would think was ideal, but it just doesn't
suit you personally, you can start feeling frustrated with yourself...because you aren't happy and don't know why. Very best of luck!
