...since the traumatic goodbyes to family at Heathrow!
I am pleased to say that we are settled, happy etc. etc.
Has it all been plain sailing? Not by a long shot!
Do we have regrets? None.
Would we move back? No.
Not much more to say really except bring on the citizenship applications...just can't wait to fill in some more Citizenship and Immigration Canada forms

well how lovely to hear a nice, positive post. We're only a week and a half in so it's always good to see a post where there are no regrets with moving here! Congrats to you and long may your happy lives last

It is going well. Very well.
I am now one year into my PhD, hubby is working, kids are settled, one has moved out to live with girlfriend (who is lovely), 2nd child about to apply for University, youngest about to start grade 3. Life is busy, but good. Currently my afternoons are spent with the youngest out in the pool - a long way from the life we led in England
But there has been stress along the way, hubby took 10 months to find work, both of us have had illnesses which caused hospital stays etc., but we have never lost sight of what matters to us.
It may not be everyone's dream but for us it works!
