Default FORMWORK/SHUTTERING CARPENTER WANTED

Hi my name is Kevin. I am a project manger for a large formwork company in Canada. We are interested in hiring some European or Australian carpenters, if you have a minimum 5 yrs formwork experience, carpenter papers, formwork NVQ or relevant min 5 yrs experience please leave me a reply.

We are based in Calgary Alberta and in my opinion is one of the best locations to move to. long warm summers, cool but dry winters with lots of sunshine, but regularly warmed up by the unique Chinook Winds, that blows in from the amazing Canadian Rockies which are only an hour away. Calgary has an extremely low crime rate and is quiet laid back.

Dear Kevin,

Sounds ideal. We are back in Ireland almost 10 years and the recession has well and truely taken a hold. I have been self employed for the last 6 years running my own Formwork Business, prior to that I worked in Cork. Before I returned to Ireland with my family I worked in both the Channel Islands and London. I recently did a stint in Germany also. I am in the business over 25 years and have worked on sites small and large. I am very interested in considering a move to Canada and would appreciate it you could send me some details regarding any Job Opportunities that may be available and salary details etc. I would be considering moving over with my wife and 12 year old son.

Many thanks for your interest.

Worth noting that this thread is rather old, and that the OP hasn't been on the forum for a few months either, so may not see your response. It may also be worth removing your email address to save you from the spambots and weirdos - people can contact you via the forum if they wish.

Best of luck finding something.

I am a Formwork carpenter from Melbourne Australia and have been in the trade for 12 years now. I am competent in all areas of formwork these areas include: Ground work, footings, stairs, suspended slabs, lift shafts, walls, and various systems.

I am looking to start work in Canada as I have an interest in living there for at least a couple of years. I think I can be a valuable member to your organisation as I am hard working, punctual, reliable and have a strong work ethic.

I can forward any extra information you may need and look forward to your reply.

Regards

Paul Livingstone
