Yes looks like we will pass each other! We are going for 11 days and just having to cram eveything we can into it. Daren't keep our daughter out of school for any longer than we already have!

We sat on Baffin Island for 2 hours in the middle of the night whilst they kept trying to get a woman off the plane whose heart kept stopping... every time they tried to move her they had to stop and give her cpr. We were already an hour and a half past BI when she had her first heart attack and we had to turn back. That was Air Canada from Calgary to Heathrow. It can happen to any airline.
Cancellations are a pain though. Although 10 days should give you a fair chance - I went for a weekend and bought a house, so anything's possible!
