We didn't actually get on the plane til 5.30pm and we were stuck at Glasgow for hours and didn't arrive in Toronto til 1am (we should have arrived at 1pm) which wasn't great seeing as we had an 18 month old with us and then had to get through immigration! We weren't given any info whilst at the airports did not get the seats we had previously pre-booked. As you can imagine we weren't very happy with them, but then I've heard of people getting here without too much hassle, so like I say it's luck! ![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

What really pi$$ed me off was the fact that in M'cstr airport there was nowhere quiet or accessible to sort out the myriad of things we needed to rearrange like accomodation, connecting flights, and car rental plus no help at all from the airline in terms of a facility/location for organising this.
M'cstr airport is truly a noisy crammed sardine-packed hell of a sh1t hole compared to the likes of Vancouver where there was plenty of space, quiet lounges, phones all over the place and helpful staff.
I am grateful that my locale will mean I can avoid air travel of any sort for the foreseable few years
