Smile Yippeeeeeeeeee!

Yippeeeeeee! Its our turn to say "we got it!!!". Got our nice brown envelope in the post asking for all our passports. Looks like a day trip to Niagara is on the cards soon! The whole process has taken us just over 8 months so it will definately be 'fast-tracked' if you do come over on a work permit! London High Commission started processing our application on May 18th and the passport request was dated Jan 24th!!!!!
Good luck to all!
Sam and Stuart

BTW that was a lovely cup of coffee we celebrated over yesterday, I was kinda hoping for something stronger given the circumstances.

Well done to all of you really pleased.

Congratulations!! You're on a roll!!!

I'm also in a work permit in Canada, but nervous about my process

May I ask you if you sent something to the canadian processing office in London regarding your employment (offer of permanent employment, or something?) What does the letter from your boss said? I want to do the same as my process has taken 13 months already in the canadian embassy in Mexico, does the offer have to be approved by HRDC?
