YeeHaa Application for PR finally away
#1
Just to let you all know my application for PR to Canada was finally posted off to London.
It has been a trying last few months, gathering all the required docs, having dissagreements with our lawyer etc.
I guess this is a sort of anti-climax now, what will I do in the evenings now, no forms to fill out, no more chasing employers, no more chasing paperwork.
Anyway I am now on the long stressful gravy train called PR, and it will be gathering momentum. :scared:
Just the wait now for AOR
Anyone know the times for recieving AOR from London !!!!!!!!
Many thanks to everyone who has supported and helped me with my questions and for the free advice
Eddie away to have a few
PS Guys I am claiming the record on the forum for the most amount of posts before I submitted my application 474, not bad EHH !!!!!!!!

Not sure on the AOR timing, Eddie, but I would guess that you should hear within about 1 month (?).

I would say a month is about right, although I believe it can take up to 12 weeks. However, ours was returned within 10 dyas (last summer).
Congrats on kick starting the process.

Great news Eddie! It's gone at last. I don't know about you but ours seemed to hang around for ages and then when it had gone we were lost!
Don't even bother with e client untill at the earliest, this time next year. There is no way it will change before then and even then your guess is as good as mine as to if or when it will! Lol.
We got our AOR back in 9 days so maybe you won't have to wait too long, fingers crossed. I think they are quoting a wait of 24 months at the moment.
BTW, you definatly hold the record for the number of posts before sending off your application! Nobody can beat that!
Go and have a drink tonight

Just to make it easier to recognise them:
Martin (PM) - looks like a frightened rabbit, with good reason :scared:
Harper - plastic hair, to match his character
Layton - fake tan and teeth (v. little hair)
Duceppe - apparently something sharp has just been shoved up his ***, from the look of him.
