Can't wait to experience my first big hail storm - although I know they can wipe out crops in an instant which is not good.
(you watch stones the size of boulders fall on the way home now cos I opened my mouth!)

Be careful what you ask for. In June last year a "big" hail storm hit our area. The damage to houses, cars and basically anything outside caused the Insurance industry to declare it a catastrophe. For me alone it was $9,000 damage to two cars and $23,000 to the house. A car dealership nearby has damage to its vehicles in the realm of $2Million.
You just made the Alberta farmers' hit list.

We've had 'funny' weather in Kelowna.
Major hail storm, our first a couple of weeks back, pebbledashed the dog.
Then we had a very windy Saturday last weekend. My daughter's got one of those huge trampolines and the wind carried it across the garden and flipped it over. Took three guys to turn it back and upright.
Today it's cloudy and distinctly 'off'.
Although, to be fair summer didn't really feature the last two years til June...and we had snow on 25th June 2007 up at Big White - about a foot!
