The World Cup - Supporting USA

Will Canadians follow the Scots example and cheer on every team that plays the USA (as opposed to England.) or will they adopt the view of supporting their near neighbours?

Well some team from North America will be playing another team from North America in a competition which only North American teams can play in! :D :D :D

I know lets call it the World Soccer Series instead.

I am not sure if I am referring to Hockey, Baseball or American Football, but you should get the drift.

Sorry to spoil your theory, but as Scot I will be cheering on England! I don't care what I'm supposed to do; I'll follow what I want. And I want some team from the UK to fare well. Except Wales.

This doesn't really help, does it. Sorry, please see original post.

Seem to remember during Euro 2004, most Canadians suddenly remembered their heritage - "I'm supporting Greece, because my Great Grandmothers cousins best friend was Greek, besides, they're playing against England."
