Default Working Remotely In The UK

Hey,
I was living and working in Toronto, Canada for the last 3 years on a work permit. My work permit has expired and I have returned to England. My Canadian employer has agreed to allow me to work remotely from the UK whilst I am here.
My wages will still be in CAN$ and going into my Canadian Bank account.

Are there any complications to go with this? Anyone have any info on how this should be best handled? Especially considering I don't have any status in Canada at present - I am a British Citizen.

You could still be deemed a Canadian resident for tax purposes.
Determining your residency status

If this might affect you it is something to be investigated.
