Default Working as an Electrician

My wife and I are currently pursuing PR as under the skilled worker visa by enlisting an English based immigration agency. My question is that I am not a time served apprentice trained Electrician, I learned some of my skills whilst serving in the Royal Navy and upon my leaving did my Electrician qualifications as part of my resettlement. I have been working now as an Electrician for the past three and a half years but what would I have to do to translate this to work in Canada as an Electrician, any help would be apreciated, thanks
