Default Work Situation

Were considering moving to ontario within one hour of Toronto I'm a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor and my wife is a registered nanny. What is the work situation like in that area and does anyone know if my profession is recognised. If there is work available then this would further help us to make up our minds.

Many thanks

To see whether your skills are in demand go here and see if your job is on the occupations list. I don't know what "quantities" you survey, but if you have anything to do with the building trade, you might be in luck, as there is a lot of new house building in the GTA.

Edited to add:

Look here at number 225

Best of luck!
