Hi All
I was just wondering about the skilled worker method of immigration. I am planning to apply for permanent residency at the end of next year, as I understand it takes a long time to process, with a view to going over in 3 years from now.
I will be able to make the points however this will not be at the time of application. I have served a year and a half in the Royal Navy and I wish to apply next year when i will have only 2 and a half years experience. Can anyone tell me how this will affect my application seeing as by the time I actually finish my contract in the RN I will have 4 years work experience.
Thanks allot everyone!

Can anyone help in giving me an idea of the labour market in Canada. I am a nurse and have an agent who will find me a job, but I think that it is going to be more difficult for my husband. We are currently living in NZ , my husband has a degree in furniture design which he did for 2 years in England but since moving over here he has moved into boatbuilding which he loves but has no formal qualifications in. The Canadians wont recognise this will they?
