Yeehay! Just got news today that we have been selected as BC Provincial Nominees!
Really quick turnaround of our application by PNP too - we submitted on December 8th and heard today, and had no questions or futher requests from PNP. How straightforward!
Even better, my employer paid for it which was an added bonus!
Best get that PR application sorted now...!

Hi - I work in IT, so it was an IT manager/business analyst type role that I applied with.
Super-fast too: applied 7th December, so it took 5 weeks and that was over the Christmas/New Year break too!
Good luck with your application.

Thank you all! Just have to get another stack of forms together now for CIC! (And may use the opportunity when I'm back in England next week to get a police check done!).
That's one more hurdle cleared...!

Wow that was quick!! Congrats
How much paperwork is there for the PR part?? I've heard the majority of the forms are for the main applicant so that should speed the process up. We're waiting for my hubby's boss to complete the PNP forms.
Good luck, I bet you will have your PR within 6 months.
Take care
Mel
PS BTW is there more snow forecast for tonight on VI?? I've heard it is going to hit hard in Vancouver tomorrow...yikes I thought it never snows in Vancouver????

Thanks! Think we got off lightly last night - no more snow for us (but one forecast is predicting more today!).
Having looked at the extra forms that are needed for PR (beyond what you do for PNP), there aren't many! They just need the CIC forms you send in for PNP, birth certificates, common-law declaration, police checks, photos, and the fee of course! That's all!
Hope you get your forms back soon!
