I funded a trip to Vancouver for an interview which happens tomorrow and Thursday
. I'm sure many of you can recall this experience and appreciate what's resting on it. As in, the rest of my life begins tomorrow...
I'm fairly confident as I've known the company for years and worked with their European branch in Holland. Saying that they've got about 7 people for me to see so it's going to be a tough couple of days.
I'll let you know how I get on and look forward to joining some of you in your social gatherings.

Break a leg, so to speak lol I remember coming over for my interviews, and going through all that, glad it's behind me now. It's pretty daunting, especially when you don't know what to expect.
Expect a lot of psychological questions, and scenario questions as well. Your qualifications will just be touched on briefly, depending on your field. do the usual eye contact and the rest of the interview stuff, like wear a suit.
Good luck.

Update: Interviews went well today despite a bit of rearranging. One guy who was meant to be interviewing me, was taken to hospital, but bothered to phone in to speak to me. I thought that was amazing.
I have the HR piece tomorrow plus their immigration specialist (assuming it gets that far). I did ask the hospitalised guy (who's one of the bosses) when a decision would be made and he confirmed that they would decide on the spot tomorrow. I'm either going to be one happy bunny or a miserable flipping sod. Eitherway watch this space

Well done
That is brilliant new.
Are you going to give us the details. How you went about getting the interview etc. Any tips greatly appreciated.
