Winnipeg
Hi there everyone,
Just found this website and now giving it a go. I am going out to work (hopefully) for a company in Winnipeg MB, about the end of February, and would be very grateful for helpful tips and advise, especially on house/apartment rental/purchase and anything else that may be useful,
pete

Re: Winnipeg
Here are the 2 main sites if you are looking to purchase a house/condo:
http://www.mls.ca/
http://www.comfree.com/
Not too sure where online to look if you want to rent however I am sure if you googled "rent apartment in winnipeg" you would get some hits.
Pretty cold in February so bring some warm clothing. Very nice summers with lots of stuff to do.
Any other questions let me know......

Rent first, see if you can handle the climate, there is a reason we call it Winterpeg.
Summer is August 14.

Re: Winnipeg
Thanks guys, I will definitely be in touch again as questions crop up all the time. Don't think the cold will be too much of a problem, I'll just fill the suitcase with thermals. Cheers

Welcome to BE I'm a total wuss with weather-inappropriate clothing, if I can survive a Winnipeg winter (twice!) so can you. Ignore Howard
