Re: Wii Question
I am presuming Canadian TV and English Wii, the TV will be NTSC and Wii will be PAL, not sure if there is anything that you can do.....If no one here responds try posting in The Lab.

Re: Wii Question
sorry if this is stupid advice but have you tried changing the aspect ratio? Your TV might be set at 16:9 widescreen or 4:3 fullscreen. Play around with the settings and you may get it all on there. The aspect button normally looks like a little square with arrows inside it.
Otherwise like said earlier it may be a problem with PAL vs NTSC systems. You wont be able to play canadian games on your UK Wii either. you are better off flogging it and buying one from Canadia.

Re: Wii Question
You could try buying the component cable and connecting it through that if you have a HDTV though as that will convert the signal to 480p and the NTSC/PAL designation will then be pretty much irrelavent.

Re: Wii Question
Seconded, you can get around the regional lockout through various backdoor methods but the NTSC/PAL display issue will still be there.

Edit: ignore that - it was a 60hz pal, not ntsc.

Re: Wii Question
It does support NTSC in a way, but only via 480p component. The OP could have used the old Freeloader disc to run Canadian games on a PAL Wii but I think subsequent system updates killed that off.
