I didn't like the convenience of driving 2 minutes to a shop or have the bin man / milk man / post man deliver stuff conveniently to your door.

1) I feel that I am missing out on my niece and nephew growing up

2)I feel that I am missing out my sisters life (my sister and the kids live in Vancouver)

3) No offence to my parents but they are retired and do the same c..p day in day out so I wouldnt miss anything and they go out to see my sister so they could see me at the same time if I make it out to Canada

4) For the adventure, Im bored of the UK, if I get to Canada I might get bored after a while but by then maybe I will be too old to care

5) me and my girlfriend want to start a family and we feel Canada would be ideal, plus i do not want my kids having a Manc accent and hanging round with the scallys round here

6) Im not going to have a pension worth squat or a pot to pee in and will more than likely have to work till I die, so I may aswell give Canada a try got nothing to lose apart from sanity maybe

7) I am never going to be rich, you can not take money with you when you die and once money is spent unless its on property you can not get it back, so the money I sepnd on moving may have paid for something else but if I have not brought that other thing Im not going to miss it?

8) taking a risk why not, some people are destined to grow up and spend there whole life in one place and go nowhere and thats fine and maybe they are happy with that. I have travelled the golbe, met new cultures and when I refelct back on life I can think yes I was not rich but i had a rich life

9) I think that I could start my own business more easily in canada

Getting to discuss everything and anything with the lovely folk on the BE forums

The list could go on but well I do not want to bore you all

I've been offered 2 different jobs within 3 weeks but am waiting on a phone interview with another as they are offering transportation to and from site and fully furnish apartment included. Canada is crying out for crane operators
