If that was the choice, then coquitlam as it's not in the middle of nowhere miles from anything.

West point grey, Vancouver. Nothing on your poll appeals to me
I wouldn't want to live in Coquitlam as it's too busy. Have never been to the other two so don't know what they're like.

If I had a decent job out in Kelowna I'd live out there, rather than Coquitlam.
Never been to Nanaimo, but the Island doesn't appeal to me too much.

Would choose Nanaimo.......The Island is beautiful, has everything you need/want and is a ferry ride away from the mainland if required.

thanks to all for voting, if I had more money and no wife or kids, Vancouver it would be!!! The 3 week recce this year included many many places but didn't make it Kelowna, going there next year and leaving the kids behind so we can do our own thing and not worry about them!! looking forward to it already - Merry Crimbo to all

I thought Kelowna was ugly. Just a big traffic jam with big-box stores lining it all the way through.
I don't get why everyone keeps going on about Vancouver Island. I didn't think there was anything particularly special about it at all - the ferry trip from Tsawassen (sp?) through the Gulf Islands was simply amazing, but the rest of the island kinda really left me cold. Victoria was a nice enough place, if I'm feeling generous. I certainly don't understand why anyone would choose to go through the hassle of emigrating to Vancouver Island, it surely would be easier to move to the Isle of Man. Same end result.
Coquitlam - never been, and quite happy to leave it that way.
Perhaps somewhere in the depths of Hungary, there exists a forum where would-be emigrants ask each other questions like, "Where would you love to live - Peterborough, Swindon or Derby?"
