Avoid avoid avoid brazolot. I wouldn't even bother going to the meeting. There's a specific thread dealing with it that you'll find quite informative

I did the forms myself and not one was returned with any missing info or further queries made. If you take your time and cross every t and dot every I and then double triple and quadruple check then you can do it yourself. Good luck !!

IEC is the best and fastest way to go and pretty easy to do yourself. Although it may take more steps to get a PR it will likely go faster in the long run.

My boyfriend is from England and came to Canada on an EIC. He got a job and applied for the second IEC while he was in Canada. After that he applied for the MPNP. He just got approved for that and will start his application for PR. He can get another type of work visa now that he has his approval for the MPNP and so he can basically keep working in Canada while he is waiting for his PR. Being able to work in Canada gave him even more points and people who are already working in Canada tend to have their applications go faster.

Also there will be changes coming soon that could make it harder for people without an actual job offer get PR. So if you come to Canada on an EIC visa and get a job you will have a better chance and a lot more options open to you.
