Rather embarrassingly I was under the impression that today was a holiday after new year, but it turns out its not, that was Friday
"Fortunately" I was called in a couple of times over the holidays to fix things, so this is just time in lieu...no harm done.

hi . hope you were able to dig yourself out of all the snow over christmas , or didn`t you get hit by the big storm in Hull? anyway, would love to vote but the computer won`t let me . Am I missing something? could you do it for me ?I think it is just you, me and one other person in Montreal that are from Quebec. We will have to start promoting this province . Have you heard about the new parental rights that came into effect?? I might just have another one jst to get some benefits

This thread is now showing as "sticky". What the hell does that mean?

I’ve done some preliminary analysis of the votes, comparing our distribution with that of Canada’s population.
Of the 57 of us that could be arsed to vote, 12.3% are in BC, which has 13.1% of the population. Alberta is over-Britted (14% vs 10%), as is MB (8.8% vs 3.7%), while SK is relatively Brit-free (1.8% vs 3.1%). Ontario, which claims 38.7% of Canada’s population, is home to 40.4% of us. The true proportion is probably much higher; quite a few ON names are missing from the poll. Quebec is no great surprise (3.5% vs 23.7%) although, here too, we’re missing a few people. No major surprises in the rest of the east, with the exception of NS. Accounting for 14% of us, NS is almost five times over its quota.
