Hi all

Im looking into coming out to nova scotia on a information trip in june and was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap places to stay around colchester/halifax area for 10 days or so. I will probably be on my own with 2 children as my husband wont be able to get any time off

We know someone in Pugwash who is really reasonable - will find the details and pm you. Most summer vacation rentals are around $1000/week.

Around Halifax there are quite a few motels, especially along the Bedford Highway, you can do a search on Google.

we are also on recce in may to ns will keep eyes peeled and post on return.

Seems there are a few of us going in May on recce, my other half (nikki dreaming) is looking to post a thread nearer the time re a meet up

Thankyou for the information. I Think im going to have to wait a bit before I come out now (i want to get the house sold first) but the information has been very helpful and I have had a good look at all the places everybody has suggested.
