Hi
We've recently submitted our SW application, and are now trying to focus on an area to live. I was hoping some of you may have some suggestions.
I work in commercial insurance, and expect to maintain that career once we move, which means we'll need to be near one of the major cities...certainly close enough for a daily commute.
We also love the snow, and skiiing, so ideally whereever we end up will be close enough to the mountains and get a decent enough dump of snow in the winter.
Property prices would also need to be reasonable.
I'd initially thought of Barrie, but I'm a bit put off by the commute to Toronto.
Any suggestions?

Depends on how you define reasonable when talking property prices, most Canadians see property prices in the three cities mentioned as either unreasonable or at least getting that way.

Or Quebec. Alas, thanks to bill 401, the commercial insurers are now concentrated in the very flat bit of Ontario around London.
