Default where to get pay-as-u-go sim in GTA

Fairly simple question.

I have an unlocked Motorola v525 (vodafone). Its pay as u go here but when I went to visit Toronto last year I could never get it to let me make calls - connected to the netwoeks okay and was able to text but kept getting some message about not being allowed to make calls (or something like that!)

Anyway as soon as I arrive in Toronto (hopefully very soon) I want to get a Canadian pay-as-u-go sim card for it - so question is where in Toronto do you get them (and how much)?

Thanks all.

I purchased my sim card at a Rogers kiosk, but in fact then had to go into a Rogers shop to complete registration (with an additional fee). The kiosk hadn't been aware of this. Can't remember exact costs since it was a couple of years ago now - I just use it whenever I manage to make a trip to Canada - but once we were at the Rogers shop it was all quite straightforward.
