Where does one start???????
Hye Everybody,
I have seen a lot of postings, and have also been told that after emigrating one should start looking at the lower bracket of jobs, since specialised degrees obtained elsewhere are not going to be recognised.
So, where does one start in the job hunt? Does an engineer look for an office job, a teacher for a secretarial job etc
Any advice, suggestions, comments.

The reality is that if you are at a senior or management level, you will probably not be considered for that level immediately over here, but you should at least be able to get a foot in the door lower down. There are a lot of british engineers working here, we are not all flipping burgers or driving taxis.
