TBH I come on here because my OH might move back to Canada with me in a couple of years and I wanted to get info on what he might expect... then I met so many funny & entertaining people on here I got addicted
Considering my grandparents were British born, although my parents weren't, and that my OH has no such link to Canada but can't be a*sed visiting forums or websites for the most part, I felt it my duty

This site has given me insight about living in the UK.... which helps me relate to some of the things that hubs might say when talking about back "home".
Check out some of the Canadian Expats groups in the UK, you'll be sure to find locals from the UK on it.

Where does it say you have to be British to vote? If my parents are British does that make me British? Or the fact I only spent 25 years in Britain, does that disqualify me?
