If you're both under 30 you could apply for the IEC working visa which would give you 2 years over here. You wouldn't have to make a life changing commitment then. You wouldn't need a job offer either.

Yeah thats one of the options that we found on the internet just not overly sure about prices and how long we'd have to save for as i'm assuming we'd need a farely big sum to get started off

Yeah i think i've asked the wrong question as i'm no further forward with an answer..its information like how much I would have to take to get started and what the job market for electricians looks like etc..good areas to stay in and places to look up but not had much response because my question was a bit vague

If you get the right visa, you can come with a backpack and $500. You don't have to buy a house etc etc....

is renting the normal thing in Canada? I know its pretty common in America, does Vancouver have lovely summer weather?
