Hi i am going on a research trip on sat 31st for a week my job offer is in burnaby so im looking for places to live somewhere safe comutable and reasonably priced i also have 2 kids aged 7 and 3 so good schools are a must like the look of maple ridge whats your opinions thanks

Having said that, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge are the most affordable cities within Metro Vancouver.
The commute, over the Pitt River bridge can be brutal in rush hour. Whether or not this is doable for the OP will depend on how much he likes the inside of his car. Plenty of people do the commute, so its not unbearable.
