If you can wait January would be much better, both for networking and snowboarding!
Early december would be okay for networking, but come mid month everyones just trying to finish stuff off so they can get away for the holidays.
Snow wise Dec is hit or miss, January's far more reliable....

i'll be honest, I don't really want to be away from home over xmas - means the furry kids will have to spend xmas in a kennel, poor babies!
