Default When can i realistically expect an answer

I gave my PR application in. When can I really expect some sort of feedback from CIC London on my application? Acknowledgement? estimate of waiting time etc.

I know they say anythign upto 3 months but in practise will they really take 3 months? How long shall i give them before I contact them?

Hope this helps a little

Hi

You are really going to have to chill out!! Your AOR will arrive when it arrives. CHC are not consistent. Forget the process and carry on with your life or its going to be a long 4 years. Good luck

As SAW says, forget about it and live your life, it ain't a rehearsal or waiting room.

I applied in Jan '04 and just got the request to send our passports in today... if this helps.

In the meantime, do as much research as you, make career moves and contacts that will ease the big transition...

If you cant wait that long, then try applying for job out there so you can go the PNP route which is definitely shorter
