Yes that was previously unlimited for British students I think. Bunac could submit pretty much as many student applications to the CIC as they received as long as all of them met the eligibility requirements.
I wonder with the new system whether the counter will be managed from the first 5000 applications they receive or the first 5000 that they process and approve. |

Bunac non-student didn't work that way but that's possibly because they pretty much guaranteed a visa to every applicant as long as they didn't lie on their initial application and their paperwork met all of the requirements. |

So am I right in saying that you can apply for a second YWV? My biggest worry is not having a job after the first year to keep me in Canada. A year is not a long time at all!

It makes you wonder if there couldn't be a far right group somewhere down the line sending in bogus applications on day one just to kill of the quota. Surely if Canada still wants migrants then policies like that aren't going to do anybody any good. |
