Lightbulb What happens if the In-Laws want to come too!

Hi all,

If my family (me, wife, 2 kids) are successful in our PR quest, when we eventually break the news to my wifes parents, what is the quickest and easiest way to get them into Canada (I'm the principal applicant - will that scupper the family class application?)

They are both retired and have decent funds, don't know if this makes any difference?

Anyone been in a similar situation, must be some stories out there?

PS - I need this info to sabotage any potential move
PPS - the PS was a joke I would love it if they also wanted to move to Canada.
PPPS - I reserve the right to change my PPS quote at any given moment

Blimey, you're braver than me - I'd have told my in-laws that anybody over the age of 18 couldn't be sponsored or something!!

Your wife can sponsor them once she's a PR...............http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigra...ho.asp#who_can

If you ask Mrs Tandy she'll tell you that the only concern she had when we binned our Oz plans in favour of Canada is that now we're not going to be as far away (from my oldies) as she'd hoped!
