Talking What a beautiful day

It's a beautiful day in Vancouver again. I wonder how things are going back in the UK?

It was a beautiful day here in Sunny Worthing. Some of the daffodils are already out, and I was mowing my lawn .......... when it started to SNOW!!!

OK, only what the Canadians call "flurries", and only for a few minutes, but snow it was, just the same!!!

Well, it was a "mild" -4C in Calgary - it snowed for most of yesterday

Spring bulbs? We won't see those until June ....

I think Glas lives a few clicks SW of the centre of the universe.

but we drove a few miles out from the centre of the universe and had a beautiful cloudless day skating in Kananaskis country.

It's a bit cold this morning! We're having a 'cold snap' here, but I expect it would be positively balmy to you lot in Canada We have near freezing temperatures when I am (near Bristol in the west country) and we may have snow on the way. Jeez I expect the country will grind to a halt then if we have more than an inch

Yes,you are right about the country grinding to a halt. I was listening to the 'severe weather warnings ' this morning and having a chuckle thinking about what it will be like next year! I live in Axbridge , near Cheddar , and we have just had a few flakes.
