Hi folks,
some interesting info here, many thanks. Good tip about the cutlery.
We are planning on taking all the mattresses, especially ours, because it's one of those memory foam ones, did read on hear about not being allowed to take them??
Cheers again,
Carl

hi
we packed all the beds, sofa's, side tables etc. In fact everything that wasn't built in, even Billy bookcase was shipped.
We wish we had brought a lot more of OH tools out of the garage, and the bike helmets that got forgot that are compulsory over here.
My one regret is not going to asda and stocking up on cheap bedding, especially duvets and covers. the bedding over here is all top dollar or what we have found has been----good quality but mega $$$$
We survived on a bed settee from walmart, one chair and blow up beds, oh and a trip to Ikea for a cheap kitchen table and some bits and bats.
wish also in the extra space we had brought all the paperbacks that we ended up binning as nobody wanted them, even the charity shops
forgot to say that the container itself arrived at the door and they broke the seal infront of us

No bare rooms, loads of boxes though, the guy's here are worried that a 20ft container won't be enough, so they're bringing the BIG LORRY!!!! Tomorrow to make sure.
No date for flying. One part of an arrrow flight at a time.
